World steel association:Global steel demand will reach 1616.1 billion tonnes this year

World steel association released the forecast results of short-term steel demand compiled in April 2018. The world steel association forecasts that global steel demand will reach 1616.1 billion tons in 2018, up 1.8 percent from 2017.By 2019, global steel demand is expected to rise by 0.7 per cent to 1626.7 billion tonnes.
